Camilla Parker-Bowles replaces Meghan Markle as a patron

With the announcement that they were leaving the UK, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also said goodbye to their royal patronages.

Fortunately, Camilla Parker Bowles, the Duchess of Cornwall, has just taken over patronage of London's National Theater from Markle.

In 2019, Markle was named the theater's patron, succeeding Queen Elizabeth, who had held the role for 45 years.

Their patronages were cancelled when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex left the royal family in 2020.

Royal patron Parker Bowles has chosen the Duchess of Cornwall to replace the Duke as patron of the National Theater.

Throughout her life, she has been a strong supporter of the arts, particularly literature and theatre.
