Congressional Riot Probe: Ivanka Trump Questioned for 8 Hours.

For eight hours on Tuesday, a House panel investigating the Capitol insurrection questioned Ivanka Trump about what she remembers about that day at her father's side in the Oval Office.

In an interview with reporters late on Tuesday afternoon, Mississippi Democrat Rep. Bennie Thompson said the committee's chairwoman, Sen.

She's answering questions, he clarified, "but not in a broad, chatty term."

While her father was president, Ivanka Trump worked as a senior White House adviser and gave testimony virtually. She was not summoned to testify.

Her testimony comes on the heels of her husband, former White House adviser Jared Kushner, being interviewed by the committee just last week.

"Obviously significant value" can be derived from Thompson's testimony, but she refused to discuss specifics.
